The majority of sales in Wakefield during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £152,912. Detached properties sold for an average of £279,323, with terraced properties fetching £120,745.
Wakefield, with an overall average price of £180,531 was more expensive than nearby Outwood (£152,272), but was cheaper than Wrenthorpe (£202,022) and Sandal (£235,307).
Overall sold prices in Wakefield over the last year were 3% up on the previous year and 10% up on the 2014 level of £163,760.
