Most of the sales in Warwickshire over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £371,849. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £210,186 and terraced properties averaged at £188,683.
Warwickshire, with an overall average price of £246,183 was more expensive than nearby West Midlands (County) (£171,243), Worcestershire (£225,303) and Staffordshire (£169,640). The most expensive area within Warwickshire was Lapworth (£686,416) and the cheapest was Ansley Common (£122,714).
In the past year house prices in Warwickshire were 5% up on the year before and 11% up on 2010 when they averaged at £221,431.
