Most of the sales in Warwickshire over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £370,208. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £211,819 and terraced properties averaged at £190,418.
Warwickshire, with an overall average price of £247,473 was more expensive than nearby West Midlands (County) (£172,930), Worcestershire (£226,160) and Staffordshire (£172,066). The most expensive area within Warwickshire was Tanworth-In-Arden (£712,885) and the cheapest was Ansley Common (£129,571).
In the past year house prices in Warwickshire were 4% up on the year before and 12% up on 2010 when they averaged at £221,423.
