The majority of sales in Whimple during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £422,077. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £274,625, with terraced properties fetching £192,250.
Whimple, with an overall average price of £340,830, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Woodbury (£337,563), but was more expensive than Broadclyst (£293,730) and Ottery St. Mary (£315,082).
Overall sold prices in Whimple over the last year were 3% down on the previous year and 3% up on the 2011 level of £329,500.
