Whitstable, with an overall average price of £294,743 was cheaper than nearby Tankerton (£310,930), Chestfield (£340,328) and Blean (£325,733).
In the past year house prices in Whitstable were 10% up on the year before and 15% up on 2010 when they averaged at £257,047.
