Last year most property sales in Wimborne involved detached properties which sold for on average £444,090. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £308,703, while semi-detached properties fetched £300,710.
Wimborne, with an overall average price of £360,364, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Colehill (£359,661), but was more expensive than Merley (£323,223) and Wimborne Minster (£321,697).
During the last year, sold prices in Wimborne were 9% up on the previous year and 23% up on 2013 when the average house price was £293,715.
