The majority of sales in Yeovil during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £137,533. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £171,782, with detached properties fetching £259,626.
Yeovil, with an overall average price of £170,313, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Ilchester (£167,316), but was cheaper than Montacute (£245,731) and Stoke-Sub-Hamdon (£276,184).
Overall sold prices in Yeovil over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and similar to the 2007 level of £174,081.
