Designed by Decimus Burton, the property was built between 1821 and 1823 and was overseen by John Nash, the renowned architect behind landmarks such as Regents Park and Buckingham Palace. Cornwall terrace got its name from the British king, George IV or in other words, the Duke of Cornwall.
