In news that is likely to interest Portugal property investors, flight comparison site Skyscanner has named the country as one of the top six destinations to visit this summer, despite the weakening value of sterling against the euro.
Head of marketing for Skyscanner Rob Innes stated that Brits shouldn’t rule out the eurozone as an ideal holiday destination due to the exchange rate.
"Already popular with surfers and wind surfers, not to mention beach fans and golfers, Portugal should not be overlooked in the search for a cheap holiday," he said, adding that a holiday to the country is a "relatively cheap trip".
Meanwhile, United Investments Portugal recently stated that investing in Portugal property is still a popular option for many.
The developer noted that it has put another 40 units at its Pine Cliffs complex up for sale following strong demand.
