According to the Times, the French island will offer value for money for Brits who want to take a nosey around the island before committing to buying a property.
Travel company Holiday Options has a lower-than-half price three star hotel on offer this week – Hotel St Christophe – and flights from Manchester or Gatwick with a week’s bed and breakfast for four people costs £399. This will jump to £499 from July 19th.
Away from the beautiful beaches, sights to be viewed on the island include the ancient town of Corte in the centre of Corsica which boasts a 15th-century fortress, or perhaps Calvi which has a walled citadel and overlooks a busy port.
