If you have always dreamed of packing in your job, selling your worldly belongings and moving to Spain, with prices at an all-time low, now might just be the time to act.

What would be the things that you looked for in a property? Maybe it’s proximity to your favourite bars and restaurants; perhaps it’s a nice spacious swimming pool to cool down in when the Mediterranean temperatures get too much? Well it seems that the deal clincher in a number of cases is proximity to the beach.

Bearing this in mind, the Overseas Guides Company have compiled a list of our top three Costa Blanca properties located within walking distance of the beach. The following properties are on the market through leading agent, Home Espana.

Our first choice is this fabulous, modern property located in Javea in Costa Blanca north. Being situated just a two minute stroll from the beach means that it would be the perfect permanent residence but would also be a great rental investment.

The three bedroom, two bathroom apartment is light and spacious and benefits from a balcony overlooking the pool and Montgo Mountain in the distance. It is situated close to all amenities so there would be no need for a car. This can be yours for €180,000 (around £142,500).

Our second choice is this large three bedroom property located in a peaceful cul-de-sac location just a few minute’s walk away from Moraira and the areas numerous beaches. The home is part of a complex of 19 properties which share a communal swimming pool. The property comes partly furnished and is fitted with all of the latest modern conveniences including air conditioning and central heating. This property is on the market for €199,950 (around £158,000).

Our third choice is this well-presented three bedroom, two bathroom, top floor apartment located in La Zenia in the south of the Costa Blanca. This typically Spanish development is within easy walking distance of all the local amenities, shops, restaurants, bars and the beautiful sandy La Zenia beach. This apartment is on the market for €95,000 (£75,200).
