Early next year, the Terra Botanica is set to open near Angers in the Anjou region of the Pays de la Loire, which will be the first theme park in Europe dedicated entirely to "the understanding and discovery of plant life".
The park has cost around 83 millions to create and will include gardens, glass houses and greenhouses, aquatic areas and nature trails.
In total, the park will boast 40 attractions over its 11-acre area.
French property owners can take a trip to the park from April 2010 and could also be interested to learn that the park will have a restaurant which has been created with the help of Michelin-starred chef Pascal Favre d’Anne.
The Michelin Guide is one of the world’s best know restaurant ranking guides.
