Brits searching for a bargain break are increasingly looking for holidays outside of the eurozone – which could see many more jet off to Florida property.

According to flight comparison site Cheapflights.co.uk, there has been an increase in the number of people looking at destinations such as Turkey and Morocco in recent weeks.

Global sales director at the website Francesca Ecsery said that searches for flights to US destinations such as Orlando were attracting more Brits recently, which could interest those with Florida property who rent out a holiday home in the area.

When looking to take a holiday in a Florida property or anywhere else in the world, travellers could find online review sites helpful to give them a taste of the destination they plan to visit.

A recent survey from the Thomson and First Choice Trends Report 2009 showed that the majority of people (80 per cent) polled said that they mostly trust the online reviews they read.
