price of a property are the 'Buyers Tax' [equiv. Stamp Duty], Land Registry Fees and Notary Fees. Buyers
Tax is an obligatory tax payable when registering the Escritura [Deeds] of a property. If you require a
Solicitor for the transaction, then this cost is borne by you as the buyer; otherwise, all other fees are
paid by the seller. As a rough guide, you should allow between 9% and 11% on top of the sale price, to
include Buyers' Tax, Notary Fees and Land Registration Costs.

institutions; this can also include services needed for bringing large amounts of money into Spain.
