About Us
Based in El Rosario, on the outskirts of Marbella, our roots date back to 1989, when the founders of the VIVA team first started selling properties on the Costa del Sol… which we know inside out and love with a passion that we can’t wait to share with you.
So we’ve been around much longer than most. In fact, when we opened our first office in Marbella in 1998 – with just two members of staff and 18 properties on our books – we were the only multiservice, high street real estate agents on the Coast.
And when we launched our website in the very same year – one of the first Costa del Sol estate agents to do so – Google was still only a twinkle in its creators’ eyes. Currently we are in the process of rebuilding our highly ranking www.yourviva.com website which receives more than 35,000 visitors every month, and are also working on the creation of Spanish and German versions.
With 2.5 million copies printed to date and still going strong, we published the first edition of HOT Properties, The VIVA Magazine, back in 1999 and now also mail 6 million digital versions annually. HOT Properties’ reputation as the Coast’s most highly respected buyers’ guide is indisputable.
No more than a few minutes’ drive from virtually anywhere on the Costa del Sol, VIVA cover the Coast from Torremolinos in the east, to Sotogrande in the west… and inland to Coín, Alhaurín and beyond.
With a portfolio of properties far exceeding that of any other agent in Southern Spain, we handle more than 1,000 individual viewings every single month, while over the past 14 years no fewer than 11,500 people have bought a home on the Costa del Sol with our help and support.
