Kythnos, beautiful and picturesque, is the first island on the way to the west Cycladic islands. It is located between Kea and Serifos, 52n.m. away from the harbour of Piraeus. The island is connected to mainland Greece and other Cycladic islands by ferry. The ferry takes about 2 hours from Lavrio, while it takes about 3 hours from Piraeus.
