Meribel is at the very centre of the worlds largest ski resort, Les Trois Vallées in the valley of Les Allues. Stretching from 1450 to 1700m, it offers a great access to the interlinked slopes through a highly modern ski lift system. All the villages in the surrounding area, including Meribel, have preserved their traditional Savoyard architecture, created by the old wooden chalets, some of which are over a hundred years old.

From Meribel it is very easy access to the neighbouring towns of Courchevel and Val Thorens, the other main resorts of Les Trois Vallées domain, which in total offers more than 650km of slopes and great off piste skiing as well. Even though 85% of the ski area is above 1800 metres, to support each end of the ski season an army of over 1250 snow canons guarantees snow whatever the weather. Meribel also features two snowboard parks with half pipes, quarter pipes and a variety of jumps.
