Only 6 km away is the most famous beach of Skiathos, Koukounaries, which is reputed to be the best in the Aegean. It has fine golden sand leading up to the shade of the Koukounaries pine trees (umbrella pines), and also offers three tavernas, water sports schools and two mini-markets.

Finally, there is a large, shaded, sitting/ BBQ area outside the main house with discreet lightning in the Acacia and surrounding Olive trees.

The property stands on a large plot of land of 8.085 m2, with gently sloping, south-facing olive meadow, bordered on two sides by government protected forest, which ensures the tranquillity and peacefulness of this unique valley.
It boasts a diverse variety of wild flowers and plants, and an abundance of mature fruit producing trees including cherry, plum, damson, olive, grape, fig, apricot, walnut, lemon, orange, tangerine, pear and “Musmulla” trees. Also, recently planted Almond, Peach, Apple, Pomegranate, Walnut and Chestnut trees.

Also there are 90 olive trees, from which the harvest, which is usually done in November, gives good quality, low acidity, oil which is best used on salads and in cooking.
