About the Architect
Giacomo Roster collaborated with Giuseppe Poggi in Piedmont and in Florence where he participated in the creation of boulevards Circonvallazione , particularly in buildings of Piazza Beccaria, and the Viale dei Colli, particularly Galileo and the square in the picturesque chalets to Bobolino.
In 1878 he was the architect of the greenhouse-tepidarium glass, iron and cast iron in the Horticultural Garden. In 1885 created the ' Ospedalino Meyer and in 1887 the first building of the asylum of San Salvi.
