There is a primary school, hairdresser, doctor's surgery, 3 churches, a local bus service, a flourishing choir and small dance school, plus a fresh fish van which visit weekly. There is also a working modern olive press, and broadband internet.
Around the village there are numerous olive groves, vegetable gardens and vineyards. It is understood that buying or renting plots nearby is a possibility.
