The estate
The estate is the most prominent in the locality and as such takes a leading role in the community. The picturesque setting is one of the most beautiful in the entire Bordeaux region and with some 45 hectares of woodland and open space it has some of the best hunting; including deer, boar and pheasant.

General condition
The property is not inhabited by its current owner who uses it as a hunting lodge and summer residence. Generally the residence is in poor condition and a new owner should expect to invest substantially to restore the property to first class standards. The building is stone and appears to be structurally sound. The interior floor plan presents an abundance of large light spaces with many attractive and original features, however, it is a floor plan that is unlikely to conform to modern expectations for use.

Chateau Accommodation
Spacious entry of 31 m² with a magnificent stone staircase. Very light and spacious formal living room of 75 m² leading to a Boudoir with original wood panelled walls. 28 m². Off the main entry the dining room with views over the grand courtyard links to pantry rooms beyond. The kitchen is small and although it has impressive views it is likely to be relocated or rearranged by a new owner. A very large master suite (50m2) with two walk-in closets is located adjacent to the grand upper landing (30m2) and is presented ensuite with a bathroom of 20m2. Another large bedroom of 35m2 with ensuite bathroom and then 3 more bedrooms (two with bathrooms) make up the total.

The park is a beautiful and grand area framing the front courtyard. Adjacent is a swimming pool with views down the valley. On the other side of the main residence there is a 12 box stable, barn, 2 (very poor condition) cottages and an ancient former windmill turned Pigeonnier.
