The town has many shops and a large market every Friday, which is full of local produce including cheeses and craftwork. There are even hot food stalls selling porchetta and chicken. After a busy morning's shopping there are lots of bars and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy local wine and cuisine.
The surrounding area can be discovered on foot, bike or car. The nearby Lago di Casoli is a man made lake with a picnic and barbecue area. It also has a lovely restaurant which overlooks the water. The mountains are still home to bears, wolves, chamois deer and birds of prey. The local wild boar are hunted in the Autumn months by locals and appear on the menus of local restaurants as 'Cinghiale'.
