Our house is set in an elevated position with splendid views facing south across the Aude valley and the Canal du Midi to Narbonne, west to wooded hills, and east to the village’s nearby XIIIth and XIVth century church and castle. It is part of an historic village, with a shop and a post office, less than twenty minutes from Saint Chinian and half-an-hour from both Narbonne and Béziers. The house’s beautiful and private grounds include a heated pool. THE AREA: The house backs on to a wonderful hilly area with walks of all lengths straight from the front door. The beaches - with a full range of watersports - are around half an hour away. The village has a tennis court and a riding centre. Further afield there are kayaking opportunities at all levels, while the nearby Regional Nature Park of the Haut Languedoc is a great area for walking and bird-watching. Skiing in the Pyrennees is 170 km away.
