Dating from the 18th century, the main house has been converted and renovated to a very high standard. The original olive press - a long low building independent from the main house - is at least a century older than the main house, and was restored in the 1990's. Additional windows have been incorporated into the building to allow light to brighten what was a cool, dark interior. Huge stone arches dominate the large open plan living space which also includes 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a laundry area. Central heating has also been installed. Outside there is a pergola-covered dining area, and a covered verandah running along the entire length of the building.

Additional land, purchased in early 2000, extends the estate to the south and includes two stone ruined cottages for potential further development.

There is a tennis court, and exceptional gardens designed by the present owner who is a past president of the Mediterranean Garden Society. The well-kept vegetable garden produces throughout the year and the citrus orchard provides large quantities of oranges and lemons. The olive harvest - not all the trees are farmed - provides good quality oil and table olives for the family and friends. The grapes are of the local variety called Kakotrygi and produce a demi sec white wine.

The gardens of the house have featured in several English language magazines and books.

The house is on the outskirts of the hill village of Gastouri, famed for the palace built by the Empress Elizabeth of Austria (Sissy) and the sea is very much part of the views from the Manor being just a 5 minute drive away.
