New Airpot - Owners Comments
This property enjoys the benefits of the new roads and service of the Airprot but without any noise issues.
With us being at the threshold of the runway, aircraft are not using power until they land well down the strip and reverse thrust to assist braking. With the constant onshore winds, planes are “gliding” in and any sound is carried the other side of the airport towards Mespo.
The only exception is Amerijet on Tuesday afternoons and that lasts 20 to 30 seconds. Actually, we quite enjoy the activity!
We are virtually unaware of most arriving aircraft. We seldom hear takeoffs; just see them rising from the far end.

Youroumei - Atlantic Facing
The owners called it Youroumei, a local Carib Indian word meaning “beauty of the rainbow in the valley”.
Facing the Atlantic this villa is always cool and comfortable and relatively bug free on account of the constant ocean breeze.
