Aradeo the town of Greek-Byzantine origin originated in the IX century is located in the central-southern Salento, in 25 km from Lecce and 13 km from the Ionian Sea, 20 km from Gallipoli, 30 km from Otranto, 55 km from the Cape of Santa Maria di Leuca.
