Skiing area
Linked to Carroz d'Arâches, Samoëns and Sixt by the « grand massif » skiing area, Morillon possesses a vast stretch of snowy slope , a total of 135, including 17 green, 54 blue, 50 red, 14 black. Skiing of all sorts and all levels at the foot of the Mont Blanc, with an exceptional snow covering.
Nordic skiing also holds a place of honour in the valley between the village of Morillon and Sixt Fer à Cheval, with a total of 50 km of cross country skiing tracks. This zone is at an altitude between 700 and 1000.

Access
By Car: -A6 motorway Paris-Macon then A40 Macon-Cluses. A43 motorway Lyon Annecy, then A41 and connection A40 exit Cluses, Scionzier. From Cluses to Morillon : follow signs to Samoëns. After the Châtillon mountain-pass, you will find indications for Morillon. It takes about 25 minutes from the motorway exit. At Morillon village, place de l'église,take direction Morillon 1100 Les Esserts (on the right).
By Train: -Cluses (TGV from Paris ) or Bellegarde (Paris-Geneva line) railway stations; Shuttle to the village
By Plane: -Genève Cointrin (55 km), Annecy (65 km), Chambéry (100 km), Lyon Saint Exupéry (180 km) airports.
