Located in the eastern end of the Sierra Espuna[M1]  National Park, it provides an ideal base for people who enjoy cycling, walking or the abundant wildlife, including eagles and wild boar. A must visit is the La Santa Monastery dating back to the 16th century. Here you can enjoy a stay in the beautiful hotel and walk the manicured gardens.

Aledo is close to the larger towns of Totana, Alhama de Murcia and Lorca and is approximately 45 minutes’ drive to the beaches of Puerto de Mazarron.


OUTSIDE.  Entrance to the property is gained from one of 4 different entrances. A pedestrian gate leads to the front door and there are also two gated entrances for vehicles, one having a large car port. There is a further pedestrian gate that leads to the rear courtyard.

MAIN ENTRANCE.  From the front of the property, you enter through the wooden front door into the dining room.

DINING ROOM .  A very large room with two sets of arc shaped windows with doors inset leading onto the front terrace and overlooking the gardens and valley below. This area room is perfect for entertaining with table and chairs the centerpiece, has a granite breakfast counter and gives access the kitchen and lounge.

Leaving the front terrace, walk down some tiled steps to the pool area. This is fully tiled and the 8m x 4m pool is heated. The heater and filtration system are accessed in a service area beneath the pool terracing. There is plenty of room for chairs and sun loungers and there is also a poolside shower.

Leaving the pool area, a short walk down another set of steps leads to the mature, landscaped gardens. There is a vegetable patch, 150 almond trees, various fruit trees, grape vines (all fully irrigated) and a beautiful ornate fishpond with wooden bridge crossing the middle. There are taps situated around the gardens for water and numerous shaded seating areas. A path winds its way back up towards the house through different features along the way.

There are two vehicular gated entrances, one with a car port and another giving access to the double door garage. Currently used to house bikes and tools, there is ample room for a car inside.

 Is also a large wood store and a small greenhouse adjacent to the entrance to the under pool storage area.
