The nearby town of La Ferté-Bernard (with its train station) also has an excellent weekly market. Its canal and medieval architecture make it a delightful place to visit. In the opposite direction is the city of Le Mans. Although best known for its motor sport, Le Mans is also a very attractive city with plenty of shops and restaurants.
