Ovacik is one of the Fethiye's areas popular holiday resorts, set in the mountains between the busy town centre and the stunning beach resort of Oludeniz with its crystal clear turquoise blue waters and its famous Blue Lagoon, one of the most photographed beaches in the world.
There are many other beaches in the area, some more remote and only accessible by boat, for example, the stunning beach at Butterfly Valley, you can take the boat across the sea from Oludeniz and stay the night, in a tent on the beach or a lovely tree house cabin, a really chilled out experience watching the sunset and the clear night skies sat in the bar that sits perched on the cliffs.
If you don't have your sea legs, then you take a trip to Gemiler Beach, hop on the Dolmus that head through the stunning ancient village of Kayakoy, down the winding mountain roads through dense forest areas and take in the views as you slowly reach the beach, a lovely quite beach of sand and shingle with a refreshing drink or a light lunch at the beach cafe, taking in the views across the bay to St Nicholas Island and its ancient ruins.
Located a short stroll from many of Ovacik's wonderful restaurants and bars and just a little further to the busy centre of Hisaronu, which is the hub of the area for nightlife with nightclubs that stay open till the early hours of the morning.
Set in an established villa complex that sits on the edge of a lovely forest area with the sweet aroma of the pine drifting through the complex with the gentle mountain breezes that Ovacik enjoys.
The complex hosts several similar style villas, all set in their own private garden areas with mature trees, pretty flowering Bougainvillaea and various other Mediterranean plants and shrubs, and all with access to a large communal area that hosts a large swimming pool and separate shallow children's splash pool, both surrounded by a travertine sunbathing terrace with more than enough space for all residents and their sun loungers to enjoy lazy summer days having a chat with the neighbours whilst soaking up the sun.
This developer of this villa had views and space for outdoor living in mind, with the villa’s curving terraces on both floors offering views of the beautiful mountains from all angles and the not too distant Mediterranean Sea is visible from any point on the upstairs balcony, with brilliant views over the valley that lies below. Both affording oodles of space for alfresco dining, relaxing on a sun lounger or sitting in the shade with a book and a cool drink on the shaded veranda style ground floor terrace.
The property is entered via a steel security door, opening directly into a spacious open-plan living area, with a marble staircase to the first floor located to the side.
The lounge area has a lovely feature of an open marble fireplace for winter evenings in front of the TV, and a lovely curving bay window looking out onto the terrace, with a patio door located on either side accessing the huge curving terrace. The kitchen is slightly tucked away, decked out with light beech and teak effect units topped with flecked granite work surfaces and finished with beige tiled splash backs, also offering further access to the terrace by another patio door
Taking the stairs to the first floor, you have 3 bedrooms, one large master bedroom with a private en-suite shower room and another curving bay window, The other 2 bedrooms are good sized rooms sharing a modern family shower room on the same floor, and all three have access to the first floor balcony that curves around three sided of the property to take in the beautiful sea views.
Perfect as a permanent home with its close proximity to Hisaronu and the local dolmus into Fethiye, Or an ideal choice for investment in Turkey with those rare sea views.
