A largely open-plan design curves around a central wall from the entrance to the music area featuring a grand piano, then to the sitting area and finally to the dining and kitchen area. The sitting area opens onto a shaded terrace overlooking the back garden, with views to the distant hills, and has a beautifully-designed built-in shelving and cupboard unit together also with a TV area. The large, modern fully-fitted kitchen also overlooks the back garden with French doors onto the terrace. This floor also benefits from a good-sized bathroom.

The topmost level is currently used only for storage, but with its attractive pointed ceilings, windows and parquet floors could easily become additional living space.
On the lowest level, there is an integral garage approached down a drive from the front electric entrance gates. The garage has an interconnecting door into the laundry area, beyond which lies a very large hobby room. A flight of internal stairs leads up into the entry level.
The back garden is also paved, with mature borders guaranteeing quiet and privacy.
The property enjoys excellent road access. While located in a quiet and peaceful residential area,, a few minutes drive brings you into the heart of Sora, the administrative capital of the region, an attractive old town built along the banks of a small river. Here are all the service establishments, the shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, etc., necessary for day-to-day life.

SORA AND THE CIOCIARIA
Sora is one of the major towns in the area of Italy called the Ciociaria, the name given to the fertile land that lies south of Rome but north of Naples, situated inland in the hills in the heart of Italy.
The Ciociaria region is within easy reach of both Rome and Naples and their respective airports. A day's shopping in Rome is a common pastime, while an even shorter drive brings you to the charming beaches south of Rome. Alternatively, drive east, and the mountains of the Abruzzo National Park await with horse trekking in the magnificent beech forests, and sparkling mountain lakes and rivers where you can swim in the heat of the summer. And at the other extreme of temperature, although Arpino itself is temperate, less than an hour's drive brings you to the winter ski slopes.
Often overlooked, both by tourists and by those foreigners in search of an Italian home, in favour of the more publicized regions of Tuscany and Umbria, the Ciociaria remains largely an unspoilt gem with beautiful scenery and medieval hilltop towns. A home or second home in the Ciociaria, in the hilltop towns of Arpino, Veroli or Alatri, or in the administrative centres of Sora or Isola del Liri, or in the rolling countryside that surrounds them, will afford you a setting where over two thousand years of history combine with an idyllic rural Italian lifestyle, where you can still discover the 'real' Italy and take time out from the busy crowds of the larger tourist cities, while being less than ninety minutes journey from central Rome or either of Rome's two airports.
