Dalyan is home to some wonderful natural scenery, the beautiful Candir mountains and the breeding ground for the once almost extinct Loggerhead Sea Turtles. Its sits on the banks over a river that homes an array of wildlife and hoards of fish that swim up and down the river alongside the many boats that cruise up and down the waters to the beach of Iztuzu, where many tourists hope to catch sight of the turtles.
The boat tours also take in the stunning views of the ancient Lycian tombs that were carved into the rock faces of the cliffs along the river, and evening stroll along the river at sunset is a beautiful sight as the sun brightly lights the tombs before it disappears behind the mountains.
If you are not one to sit around the pool or laze on the beach every day, there is lots to do in and around Dalyan with an amazing amount of organised daily tours, with sea fishing trips, white water rafting, scuba diving and snorkelling and much more just pop into one of the tours shops and see the fantastic choice.
The villa is located in the popular Gulpinar area of town, a short five-minute stroll to the centre through lovely country lanes passing olive groves and fruit orchards.
