There is also a small laundry room beside the front door.

Upstairs there are four spacious bedrooms (two with ensuite bathrooms) and a separate shower room. The two front bedrooms have access to a balcony.

Downstairs is a separate self contained apartment. There are internal stairs between the ground floor and the apartment, but a lockable door means that both the chalet and the apartment could be rented separately if required. The apartment was renovated in 2015 and comprises a pleasant living/dining/kitchen area (with doors out onto the ground floor terrace), 2 double bedrooms, a spacious family bathroom, and a master bedroom with ensuite shower room. There is also another laundry room area.

The property has very efficient, sealed double glazed windows throughout which helps keeps heating costs down. Heating and hot water are electric. There are four water tanks of which two in the attic space feed each of the smaller bathrooms, whilst the other four bathrooms are fed by two tanks in the apartment laundry area.

The chalet is in excellent order throughout, and the outside was completely re-painted in 2015 at the same time as the apartment was renovated.

Outside, the private gardens have been landscaped/terraced to make best use of the space. The ground floor has a decked terrace area with hot tub. And there is also a useful garage plus shed space at the end of the drive.
