The town of Ravascletto is located in the historic Carnia region in the province of Udine and is part of the well publicised list of the "most authentic villages of Italy". Nearby is the Arta Terme thermal spa and the Austrian spa of Kotschach-Mauthen.

The propoerty also has a beautiful garden which adjoing the woodlands. It was sympathetically restored in 1995 to bring it back to its former glory with particular care to the stonework, the wooden beams and the carnico tiles roof.
