L'Antica Vedetta enjoys a splendid view and great privacy and is reached along about 300 meters of white road in good condition. The forested rolling hills, culminating lower down in cultivated fields, give the feeling of living in an idyllic setting, surrounded by castles and fortresses. The nearest hamlet (and bar) is 5 minutes by car, closest town is Umbertide about 10 km, 10 km Preggio, Perugia 25-minute drive. Airport of Sant 'Egidio 25-minute drive.

L'Antica Vedetta is located in a marvellous position between Perugia and Umbertide, in an unspoilt area where many old castles (like the Antognolla) and medieval towers are found. The access is very easy, via a long gravel road about 300 m.

The main building, a very old medieval watchtower in stone lovingly restored in 2005, has a gross area of approximately 355 square meters and lies on 3 floors.

State and finishes
The farmhouse has been the subject of a good overall restructuring between 2004 -2005. Externally it is in stone and the ancient original structure of the Watch tower is still very visible. The ceilings of the house and outbuildings are composed of traditional joists and beams with handmade terracotta inlay. The flooring is done in good quality terracotta. The windows are made of wood with double glazing, and there are traditional bars on all the windows of the main house and outbuildings. The pool has a resin coating and a stone pavement in Trani stone.
