The double glazed windows are wood on the interior and green aluminium on the exterior, and are of the slatted window design, with mosquito nets built in.
The water is collected into an underground tank so is able to be used to water the garden or flush the toilets.
The property is heated by underfloor heating downstairs and by radiators upstairs from the gas condensing boiler.
