Kayakoy is a wonderful tranquil village that sits approximately 8km south of the busy cosmopolitan harbour town of Fethiye, accessed via steep mountain roads that wind themselves through thick pine forest area, as you reach the top of the mountain and road and exit the tree lines areas, you will be taken aback by sheer beauty of the valley that lies below. with huge open fields and scattered rooftops surrounded by the pine clad mountains that seem to shelter the village from all directions.
