And with more than 10 golf courses in the municipality, you van easily say that Benahavis is the heart of the Costa del Golf.
The village and surrounding areas offer plenty of welcoming bars and restaurants, so you do not need to take a car all the time, which is a rather great advantage in these times if you want an alcoholic drink. But the definitive wow factor is provided by the local taxes which are only a fraction of the ones you would pay in other villages on the Costa del sol. This is true for the local property and car taxes and even the water supply and trash collection are a lot cheaper.
So, not only is Benahavis probably the most beautiful village of the Costa del Sol, but the financial advantages of a property in Benahavis, compared to similar ones in other villages or cities, can run into the thousands of euros per year.
