LOCATION AND ACCESS
Argentiere is a small village located 10 minutes up the valley from Chamonix and sharing the same five ski areas. The village has a more personal and friendly feel than its world famous neighbour and is a popular hangout among the more serious skiers. The Mont Blanc Massif provides a stunning backdrop to the valley with some of the most striking alpine scenery to be found anywhere in the world. If you would like to ski the Chamonix valley but enjoy a smaller village atmosphere then Argentiere is the resort for you!

By Air: Argentiere is just an hours drive from Geneva airport making it one of the most accessible ski resorts and the perfect location for short breaks. Easy Jet offers a regular and reasonably priced service to Geneva from a number of UK airports.

By Train: It is possible to reach Argentiere by train, the TER and TGV train services go to St Gervais which is 20km from Argentiere. From there you can take a local SNCF connection through to Chamonix town centre from where you can catch a train or bus to Argentiere. We generally dont recommend train travel due to ticket prices and the lack of a direct connection.

By Car: Argentiere is easily accessible by road with the Autoroute Blanche (A40) coming directly to Argentiere. The drive from the UK takes about 10 hours and goes through some nice scenery along the way but dont forget to budget for French toll roads!
