Due to its formal construction characteristics, the building has been catalogued within the 'Patrimonio del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona', and is now considered to be a point of urban interest, with protection level C. It has stone pillars with arched openings, and looking from the front it has a symmetrical façade with a central point of focus coinciding with each apartment entrance. It has impressive three meter high ceilings with intricate artisan cornices throughout.

Due to its interior organization and the buildings position, the daytime area is focused around the interior courtyard. The living room, dining room, terrace and gallery pace are all bathed in sunlight from first thing in the morning right up until the early afternoon. The nighttime area, such as the bedrooms, are all positioned facing Calle Trafalgar, and they receive sun in the early afternoon, and the height of the apartment also prevents too much noise pollution from the street below.
