Villaverde is an amazing Canarian Village situated some 10kms away from Corralejo, enjoying an elevated position which allows for panoramic views of the coast towards Lajares and El Cotillo and Lanzarote.

Known as the Beverley Hills of Fuerteventura, Villaverde offers the famous restaurants of El Horno and Casa Marcos as well as others such as El Rancho and the beautiful Rural Hotel Mahon.

The village consists of Villas in large plots and enjoys a traditional village shop and a great supermarket Super Dino, along with a furniture shop Solamente. Centered in the heart of the village close to the school is a local bread shop that supplies the most fabulous cakes and bread as well as serving coffee 7 days a week. Villaverde offers a catholic church as well as numerous local bars where the day's events are often discussed well into the evening.

Also you will find a museum and other tourist attractions such as the famous lava tubes of 'Cueva de los llanos', Villaverde is on a main bus route giving easy access to Puerto Del Rosario (Fuerteventura's Capital ) Corralejo, El Cotillo, Lajares as well as the International Airport.

La Oliva is the main municipality in the north of Fuerteventura and of course the main Town hall is situated here. It is an old town with a church that was built over 300 years ago. You will find the famous exhibition centre and restored historical building La Casa de Los Coroneles which is the biggest rural mansion in the whole Canary Islands,
