This beautiful country house with sea views is located on a hilltop with excellent access (only a few short metres of dirt track, the rest all concreted). It is only 5 Kms from the centre of the historic town of Velez-Malaga, and only 10 minutes from the coast, making it a very convenient, ideal place to live, or run a small B&B business. The accommodation distribution would make it very easy to immediately set up as a B&B and would attract many tourists to stay - talk to us about the potential, as we also run a B&B!

The gated entrance leads into an ample parking area, with the large garage building to the right, with locable workshop to the rear. The building was built with the idea that it could be converted into a separate apartment -although the storage space is very useful and the house already has 6 bedrooms! It might also make a very good office.

To the rear of the garage is a small fruit tree orchard with various types of producing cytrus and fruit trees and there is space for growing vegetables too if required.

The main gardens are around the house and consist of the large terrace area, with ample sunbathing areas and a beautiful, centrally located 10 x 8m pool in an interesting shape, with easily manageable steps leading down into the water. The part of the house facing the pool area has a large arched covered terrace stretching the entire length of the building, providing an ideal area for shaded outdoor eating, relaxing and entertaining.

Taking the door into the living room from the terrace, we find ourselves in a light, spacious central room, (7 x 5m plus alcove) which conveys a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, and has a very efficient built-in pellet-burner fireplace in the far corner. The living room forms an L shape with the dining room area, which is around 3 x 2.5m plus under stairs storage cupboard. For anyone wishing to use the property as a B&B, this would be the ideal area for those days when breakfast cannot be served outside.

Conveniently next to the dining area and accessed via a wide archway is the spacious kitchen (4.7 x 4m) which is beautifully fitted and has a central island with worktop. And beyond the kitchen, tucked away with its own door accessing the outside, is the utility and laundry room (2 x 1.5m).

Beyond the dining room is access to bedroom 3, which is a generous 4 x 4m with ensuite bathroom of 1.4 x 1.75m and double glass doors out to a terrace area.

On the other side of the living room are bedrooms 1 (4 x 2.5m) and 2 (4.5 x 3m), both with double glass doors out to patio areas, and between the two is a very large shared bathroom of around 4 x 3m, with one wall rounded. This lovely bathroom has a large double shower unit and his and hers style separate wash basins.

From the living room, there are double glass patio doors leading out to terraces on both sides.

Ascending the stairs, we reach a landing area with built-in wardrobes at one end (ideal for storing laundry, etc) (4 x 2.1m including stairwell). To the left is bedroom 4 (4 x 3.5m) which has a door leading into a bathroom with shower unit (2.5 x 2m) and this bathroom also has a door onto the landing. Bedroom 5 is a spacious 5 x 4m, with doors out onto a lovely terrace. And on the right of the landing is the master bedroom, bedroom 6. This wonderful room is 8 x 4m, and has the bedroom area at one end, and a sitting room area at the other, with access to its own ensuite bathroom (2.5 x 2m) and to its own private terrace.

Each bedroom either has air conditioning or a ceiling fan, offering a choice. All have terraces and all have sweeping views of the sea or countryside and mountains. All are spacious and comfortable rooms.

This delightful and luxurious house is not alone, there are neighbouring houses around, meaning that it is in no way isolated from others.
