Limerick city is host to UL and various technological colleges etc. The little village of ballysteen is a mere 5 minute walk from the house and has an excellent primary school and excellent fruit and vegetable dealers.
the house is a 5 minute walk from Beagh castle and pier, the mouth of the Shannon estuary..
The land is located to the south, north and west of the house.

No chemicals or fertilisers have been used on this land since '97.. it has been dedicated to wildlife and extraordinarily beautiful birds nest here. There are many trees and its a wonderful natural habitat. extremely peaceful, with no passing traffic..
