You will find the famous exhibition centre and restored historical building La Casa de Los Coroneles which is the biggest rural mansion in the whole Canary Islands,

The town boasts a selection of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, schools, gymnasium, green houses, pharmacies, petrol garage, banks, post office; in fact everything you need for daily life. Also, visit the Rural Hotel Casa Vieja for a fabulous restaurant and surroundings.

La Oliva has a good transport system with buses passing through to Puerto del Rosario, Corralejo, El Cotillo and Lajares. The main international airport is approx. 25 minutes driving time.

Corralejo is a fabulous Canarian town situated in the north of the Fuerteventura that enjoys the perfect balance between tourism and local life.The town itself offers a myriad of shops ranging from jewellers to clothes and sports shops, car hire, bike hire and more, bars and restaurants are plenty, with foods ranging from traditional local Canarian fare including: fabulous meats and local fish that are caught daily from the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean, to Chinese and Japanese foods, Italian, Canarian Tapas and more mouth-watering opportunities to discover.

You will find many supermarkets scattered throughout the town as well as other specialist food shops, some supermarkets are open 6.5 days a week.

There are three pharmacies strategically situated in the town, one always on duty no matter the day. There is a 24 hour private clinic and dentist as well as the Centro de Salud (Medical Centre), again offering a 24 hour emergency service.

The beaches of the town have to be seen to be believed, golden sand clean turquoise waters and very safe.The famous sand dunes of Corralejo are only short distance outside of the town with many more beaches to explore and enjoy.

Suba diving centres windsurf and kitesurf centres can be found on some of the beaches and in many places of the town.

Corralejo enjoys a great nightlife scene which ranges from chill out and music bars to late night discos.

Taxi stands are conveniently situated throughout the town and you will always find a taxi whatever time of night or day. The main bus station of Corralejo provides an excellent service of getting about the whole Island that is timely, clean and good value for money.

The main ferry port is located at the north of harbour with ferries going to and from Lanzarote every half an hour and takes only 20 to 25 minutes.
