The entrance hall provides access to the lounge / dining room, kitchen, the attractive staircase (tiled in harmony with the remainder of the ground floor accommodation) and an access door to the basement garage.
LOUNGE / DINING ROOM - delightfully conceived and very bright and airy thanks to several large windows and patio doors with spectacular views towards the sea, along with attractive, large floor tiles and décor featuring pastel shades. At its centre there is a smoked glass-fronted feature wood-burning fire with chimney breast set on a green Italian marble base and white Italian marble surround. Patio doors allow you to step out onto the tiled terrace.
KITCHEN - the fitted kitchen is in solid oak and features work surfaces in polished granite, a dishwasher, a fridge, four-hob cooker (two gas, two electric), extractor fan, electric oven, built-in barbecue - on a granite base with white Italian marble surround - with chimney and electrically-powered rotisserie, along with plenty of drawers and storage cupboards. The wall covering around the work surfaces is in glass.
BEDROOM - with an attractive en suite featuring a shower and a wash basin.
GARAGE - the basement garage is accessed by a staircase from the entrance hall. It has ample space for two cars, an electrically-operated door as well as storage space and a ceiling height of 2.5m. The central heating system is located here and there is plumbing for a washing machine and plenty of space for a freezer and other appliances. Behind one wall there is a hollow void, the original intention being to expand into this space and create that all-important wine cellar with the necessary stability of temperature. This, of course remains an option or the void could be exploited to simply further expand the garage space.
Accessed from the entrance hall via the staircase in quality tiling with attractive wood edging and featuring an ornamental handrail:
UPSTAIRS SITTING ROOM - with its large window and patio door facing towards the sea, this bright and airy sitting room is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view, or pop out onto the tiled balcony and take in the sea air. Featuring wooden beams to the ceiling and a built-in full-length storage cupboard.
MAIN BEDROOM - en suite, with its own access door to the outside tiled balcony. The en suite features a large corner bath with over-bath shower, a double wash basin with dedicated mirrors and attendant drawers and cupboards and a heated towel rail. A walk-in wardrobe provides plentiful storage and hanging space. The Velux windows give a sea view directly from the comfort of your own bed!
BEDROOM - or ideal as an office.
TO THE EXTERIOR:
The house's elevated position provides a good view down the driveway to the substantial, tall gates which benefit from a remote caller-monitoring system of a camera and an intercom. The driveway is lined with and other palm trees. To the rear of the house there is a lawned garden.
In order to give a high level of insulation the house was constructed using BioBrick supplemented by a layer of glass wool and clay tiles. The entrance door features smash-proof glass for an added level of security and the double glazed windows and patio doors are made from lacquered aluminium and feature sound-proofing.
