Dunas Douradas is a very popular and sought after resort located in the so called "Golden Triangle" between Vale do lobo and Quinta do Lago a 10 minute walk from the spectacular beach and the popular beach restaurants and beach sport facilities. The resort also has a resort pool with a bar and restaurant only availabe to property owners and their guests. There are also two tennis courts in the resort as well as a Mini- market which offers basic provisions as well as daily UK newspapers.

The resort is only a 15 minutes drive from Faro airport and in the general area are several very well stocked supermarkets. There is a large number of renowned golf courses within a 20 minutes drive as well as tennis clubs and well equipped gyms. The area is also famous for a large number of good quality restaurants.

A short drive away you find the busy market town of Loule and the internationally rewarded marina in Vilamoura with its shops and restaurants.

For those who wish to venture a bit further, a 2-3 hour drive, you find the bustling metropolitan lifestyle and culture of Lisbon and Seville.
