The medieval town of Pals is located on the summit of the hill of Puig Aspre, with a magnificent view over the area known as the "Empordą Petit" or Empordanet. Located only 5 km. of the beach.

Pals beach is one of the longest and most spectacular beaches on the Costa Brava. This 3.5km long beach has its fair share of pines and dunes with magnificent views over the Medes Islands. The beach is divided into two parts. The northernmost part lies next to the Platja de Pals golf club-the oldest course on the Costa Brava and to the other side, the south beach, next to the town of Begur.
