Gumusluk, is steeped in history. Here you can still see a number of reminders of the area’s historical past with the stadium, theatre and walls surviving from ancient Myndos and a Byzantine church, which today is restored as a cultural centre. On top of the hill there are the remains of Kadikalesi (Kadı Castle), a Hellenistic fortification, together with a Roman church and cistern. You can snorkel or scuba-dive in the clear waters of Gumusluk and discover for yourself the ancient ruins of Myndos. This is one of the few places on the peninsula that has been awarded a blue flag.

The seafront area here is famous for its seafood restaurants and great tea gardens; it is the perfect spot for a lovely evening out.
