Boasting its own private landing strip of 1, 200 meters, it is a 25 minute flight from Zambia’s Capital Lusaka or a 45 minute flight from Livingstone International Airport, home to the mighty Victoria Falls. The emphasis has been on conservation and Kotakota Hills was recently nominated as a National Heritage site by Zambia's National Heritage Conservation Commission as it has four archaeological Middle Stone Age sites as well as fossil tree trunks.
