Almonds, lemons, figs, apricots and peaches in the home orchard supply the household and friends with fresh and preserved fruit in abundance.
 
Water for vineyards is from the Helderberg Irrigation Scheme with a quota of 8,000 cubic meters, more than sufficient to meet the requirements of the vineyards and garden.
 
Pure water from a borehole delivering 7 200L/h is pumped to 3 x 5000L storage tanks from where it is gravity fed to supply the cellar and homestead.
