The village is situated in an unspoilt landscape, in a central position between Rome and Florence, set in an area of well known spas, such as Fonteverde in San Casciano dei Bagni, as well as interesting artistic and cultural centres. A short drive away is the Scarzuola convent and the Natural Park of Monte Peglia and in little more than half an hour are Monteleone, Città della Pieve, Orvieto, Lake Bolsena, Bomarzo, Volterra, Perugia, Spoleto and Assisi.
